Statement of Purpose

The All Babies Cherished Pregnancy Assistance Center exists to provide emotional support, encouragement, guidance, and practical assistance to a woman and the father of the child, in order that she may continue her pregnancy.

Because of our foundation in Jesus Christ our Savior, we will share the Word of God through words and deeds, whenever possible and appropriate, without imposing a spiritual demand on the person seeking assistance. We entrust the Holy Spirit to bless the counselors by causing their hearts to open to the gentle understanding shown.

We will focus on the woman and her needs and offer her acceptance, compassion, and accurate information about her life choice options.

We will provide practical assistance to the new family both during and after pregnancy by offering:

Free maternity and baby clothing
Baby furniture
Assistance with other children
Interim housing
Appropriate referrals to professionals and social and community service agencies (including adoption)
Advocates
Childbirth preparation

We shall refer individuals to pastors and local churches consistent with a particular person’s request.

To the woman who has had an abortion, we shall offer compassionate counseling, understanding, and the forgiveness of Jesus Chris.

The All Babies Cherished Pregnancy Assistance Center is a partnership of area people and churches united for the purpose of serving any pregnant woman in the same spirit in which Mother Theresa served the poor – viewing each person as a child of God in need of His love.
